now I can confirm the Dollar has been arrested and detained in the cells but the KEYS shouldn't be given to the IGP this time round. Well done Mr. Prez JDM and his team.

Responsible and serious leadership at play. The cluelessness and incompetence of the erstwhile npp regime should stop making noise and learn how to manage the economy from the current ndc government. Ghana is now working again. The dollar will definitely stabilize if the government remain discipline on their expenditures and allow the financial institutions to work well. The auditor general just recovered 12.7 billion cedis from disallowed spending. All these money would have found their way into the forex market to put pressure on the dollar. The 70billion cedis the central bank recorded as losses was money given to npp appointees which they all converted it into dollars and other hard currencies. Cecilia dapaah's money was part of the BOG 70b losses. Criminals are demons who only thrive in chaos.

It should stabilise below 10cedis to a dollar. The fast depreciation of the cedi in 2022 was a disaster. Though the economy will see some shock, the long term benefits will be good.
