Ato Forson has played a blinder with the economic debt he inherited as finance minister. Yes there will be those that point to other external factors influencing the Cedi appreciation but none the less I believe by setting up GoldBod, that has been ths significant difference in why the cedi is now considered the best performing currency in the world. I had my doubts about NDC's capability but so far they have been stella stewards of the economy, keep up the excellent start. This just shows you how uselesss the NPP were, they have been exposed as being lazy by, the speed at which this new NDC government are turning things around, as well as being thieves. Ghanaians dont forget how poor the NPP has made us over this last 8 years whilst they the NPP ruling elite, stole and enriched themselves and their families. At every by election and general election for years to come never vote these thieves back into power....

Most Ghanaians welcome the good news of Cedi gains against major foreign currencies, however cost of electricity is gone up and most users of electricity are complaining of higher living cost .Ghanaians would be advised to produce more for local consumption and export more abroad to.earn foreign currencies,
We also make much of our consumables in Ghana to reduce importation of foreign goods,we should consume made in Ghana goods and also control free importation of foreign goods into the country. A.visit tk Melcom stores ,Chinese Mall and Makola speak.of.variety of goods imported to.ghana to.be sold.

You will continue to be a fool soldier. Can you explain why then the Cedi is appreciating against the Pound, Euro and CFA. Do a quick search on Oanda or Bloomberg, just compare the Cedi to any other currency in the world, and you will see that the cedis is appreciating against all currencies in the world. It is pure eco 101 of supply out waying demand at play, which is leading to depreciation of other currencies against our cedi. The government should make economics a compulsory subject in SHS for everyone to be educated for free. People are just too dumb in this country.

Some stupid goons and dummies are never going to be happy when the cedi appreciates against major international currencies. To them, the exchange rate for the cedi should continue to rise so that the few dollars or euros or pound sterling they remit home to Ghana will become millions of cedis. They fail to grasp the basic concept that if the cedis is strong, it eventually translates to lower prices for goods in the market. The common consumers in Ghana need a break.
