OTUMFUOR KWAKU DUAH, SAM JONAH, AND MANY OTHER SELFISH INDIVIDUALS INCLUDING CHINESE, INDIANS, SYRIANS, LEBANESE AND OTHER FOREIGNERS IN GHANA HAVE BEEN SMUGGLING OUT GHANA'S GOLD BARS FOR DECADES, RESULTING IN DEADLY SOVEREIGN ECONOMIC LEAKAGES. THAT'S WHY GHANA, A RESOURCE- RICH NATION, HAS ALWAYS BEEN CHASING THE IMF AND OTHER LENDERS FOR SOVEREIGN LOANS IN THE MIDST OF PLENTY.

IF THIS IS HOW THE WEALTHY TAX-FREE GULF ARABS HAD BEEN RUNNING THEIR CRUDE OIL AND NATURAL GAS ECONOMIES, THEY WOULD NEVER HAVE BEEN WHERE THEY ARE TODAY.

IN GHANA, THE PROVISION OF BASICS LIKE 24/7 ELECTRICITY, WATER SUPPLY AND OTHER UTILITIES, AMONG MANY OTHERS, AT AFFORDABLE PRICE LEVELS IS A MAMMOTH TASK. THESE ARE UNHEARD OF IN THE GULF ARAB STATES WHERE FUEL PRODUCTS ARE CHEAPER THAN WATER BECAUSE THEY ARE ALL TAX-FREE.

THE AVERAGE ANNUAL RAINFALL IN THE GULF ARAB STATES IS LESS THAN 2" WHILE IT'S OVER 12" IN GHANA, YET THE ARABS NEVER COMPLAIN ABOUT FOOD AND WATER SHORTAGES.

THE TAX-FREE GULF ARABS ALSO HAVE VERY EFFICIENTLY-MANAGED NATIONAL AIRLINES WITH FLEETS OF MODERN AIRCRACFT AND MODERN INFRASTRUCTURE FACILITIES, ALL ACQUIRED WITH REVENUES FROM JUST TWO EXPORT PRODUCTS, REFINED CRUDE OIL AND LIQUIFIED PETROLEUM GAS.

GHANA IS ENDOWED WITH THESE TWO PRIMARY HYDROCARBONS BYPRODUCTS, PLUS DEPOSITS OF MANY PRECIOUS METALS INCLUDING COCOA, MUCH OF WHICH ARE EXPORTED BY GHANA'S SUCCESSIVE THIEVING LEADERS FOR THEIR PERSONAL GAIN WHILE THE ORDINARY CITIZENS ARE SUBJECTED TO CONDITIONS OF CRASS DEPRIVATION OF THE BASICS OF DECENT MODERN LIVELIHHODS.

GHANAIANS MUST RISE UP AGAINST THE DECADES OF SUCCESSIVE LEADERSHIP BUFFONERY AND THIEVERY.
