I expect a top CEO of a bank to be the BoG deputy head. Or a Director with BoG. But can't blame Mahama, his previous appointees were kicked out too and the cycle will continue. It's same every in all public institutions now. The top 2 positions are from the outside. I wish her well and hope she does a good job to save the name of the president. Those with super experience didn't help us anyway.

So if I get it right, the lady was a journalist/communications professional who shifted to the banking ten years ago, and held the position of Head of Retail Banking (Access Bank), before being considered for the position of 2nd Deputy Governor of Bank of Ghana.
Even though she has 10-years of banking experience (including retail banking), is she really (with this rather modest banking background), the most qualified person for the position of Deputy Govenor? I sincerely doupt it.
