Mr Minister of Finance, one financial crime committed by successive governments is the charging of VAT directly on CIF values and then going ahead to charge import duties.

Ghana is one of the few globally to charge levies and taxes directly on CIF values.

Please, scrap that criminal VAT on CIF and make Ghanaians enjoy their sweat small.
