  Yes this is the true voice of Kantamanto. I strongly believe GUCDA is not at base with the daily activities that transpires in the market. GUCDA is mostly focused on their profit with no interest of the major stakeholders at heart. I converse with a dealer in the second hand clothing a week back. I noticed his goods were so poor quality wise compared to the previous years. He admitted that and told me it was because of the importers. And I quote; " This people (GUCDA) don't care about us. They send their relatives to the source county of this goods and since they are profit centered, they instruct them on what to do and this relatives pack 'borlas' for us. In the past, the goods are packed by the whites but not the case now. My brother it's a challenge ooo".

  The STATE should look at the whole phenomenon of USED ITEMS. Ghana is importing used cars, car engines,car tyres, various car components, clothing,radios,tv sets,computers, laptops, etc etc. Are we saying that we in Ghana can not produce any of these items??. What did we do with our Textile Companies ( and the cotton farmers), Akasanoma Assembly Plant, BONSA TYRE Factory, Saltpond Ceramics, One thing this current Administration should do is a thorough examination and review of our INDUSTRIAL climate. Please let Ghana start using her many natural resources for the creation of wealth for her people.
