Zongo will never exist again in the country's major cities ,especially in Accra, Kumasi ,Takoradi,Cape Coast and others. And it is only the gov. which can provide such a single-room-self-contain apartments in the number that will meet the demand of the tenants. Duplet-self- contain-storey- building and 2-3 bedroom-storey- building apartments are the populace choice currently because of funds or money availability. Individuals are now building for personal use because of money availability,decongestion,peace and security at home and beautification of the community. Many builders are not interested in the renting business, and it is the belief that the stepping in by the gov.for the provision of a few of apartment houses for renting in certain communities is the answer. But care needs to be taken in order not to create a congested community like Asokore-Mampong affordable housing area where intellectuals have allowed for such a situation to occur to gov.project. Beautification should always be the hallmark .
