Millions of Ghanaians still have their Sims deactivated due that stupid re-registration. As a result of that a lot of Ghanaians are still using Sims that are registered under their friends and family members names. Their Data and Airtime on their own Sims cannot be retrieved. What a shame. We hope the New Government will look into this.

Don't reregister but monitor SimCard usage and punish those who faulted your policies.

With ID-linked SIM cards the police can easily track down and arrest phone-based cyber fraudsters. In all developed countries SIM cards are linked to the user's ID. I hope the government is not considering conducting another re-re-registration exercise (what Sam George called "proper SIM card registration") just to undo an policy instituted by the previous administration. Or worse...
