The cedi has no party colours. NDC has promised to stabilise it. The financial statement made on Tuesday has no policy to stabilise it. Speculators still rule the market. Simple

Yesterday rate was 15.90 meaning if you brought a $10 item it would cost GHc 159 today if you brought the same item it will cost you GHc 161. How is the value if the Cedis going up? Did you even study mathematics at school. Basic stuff. You do not deserve to be employed. Someone from KG2 even knows this. Maybe you have been listening to the lies of the politicians and bankers for much too long. Shame on you, you have embarrassed yourself, GhanaWeb and mislead the people.

Simple education here: When you pay more cedis for $1, the cedi has depreciated (LOST) and if pay less cedis than the previous day, the cedi has appreciated (Gained) relative to the dollar.
Please stop writing news stories on topics you don't understand.

If Mahama is able to take it up and it doesn't cross 20 cedis before leaving office, Ghanaians won't criticize him that much because it's always been his capabilities.

The person who wrote does not understand the currency movement. The cedi has rather lost value not gained. We now need more cedis to buy the same amount of dollars we bought last. This is loss in value of the cedi.
