Let's make a quick calculation here:
If 500,000 bags of cement: gh45m
10,000 tons of iron rods of different sizes: gh90m
10,000 trips each of Sand and Stone: gh70m
Woods of different sizes: gh100m
Artisans and labourers ...

10,000 tons of iron rods of different sizes: gh90m
10,000 trips each of Sand and Stone: gh70m
Woods of different sizes: gh100m
Artisans and labourers cost: gh500m
Professionals cost: gh500m
Roofing, Tiling, Glazing, Painting and Furnishing: gh500m
Services and administrative costs: gh200m
Even with these hiper-inflated costs, the total is gh2.5billion which amounts to $150m.
Are we saying we used $250m to put up 2 or 3 structures and going to use $11m to furnish them? The cost of the land was about $3m or so. Oh, Ghana!
Chinese can use these amounts to build a whole city.
Npp's 8-year rule of looters has messed up this country.

The original pricing were based on estimates in 2011. The building was completed 98% completed in 2024 after 13 years.
