An increase, I guess, is an increase, but it's wholly inadequate for survival. The working poor will continue to remain so until there's is a whosale redress of wages and salaries to livable standards, which includes massive increase in worker productivity and honesty, reduction in the cost of doing business in the country, reduction in inflation, cedi/dollar improvement etc. The question is which comes first? Let's start with embracing a true living wage doctrine and productivity gains.
