Mr. Kofi Bentil, and other Professionals who are not party members of NDC, NPP, CPP and of course the other political parties should kindly keep their intellectual thoughts and suggestions to themselves else they consistently make disparaging remarks that subtracts value from from their intellectual arsenals provided they have some. My reason for appealing to our professionals who are not party members of any political party is that, you can't instruct President John Dramani Mahama that SOEs "must be disbanded" on what audacity do you make such profound order as in you are who exactly? You professionals should sit down and work at your own level and leave politics for politicians. You can make contributions if the politicians call for stakeholders as in the general public there and then you can put your suggestions across for possible consideration but not command the President to adhere to your orders if I may. Ladies and gentlemen, I want to make it clear that every political party in this country has professionals who work for the betterment of Ghana and this is enshrined in their party manifestoes with which they use to sell their ideas,policies and social contract they would want to achieve if voted into government. In this regard ladies and gentlemen, why would some people think that the Professionals who compiled, drafted, marketed and implemented their manifesto all of the sudden those professionals should be sidelined and abounded for people who don't share the dreams and aspirations of the party members and even more worse you expect President John Dramani Mahama should give positions to people who did not campaign for him in any form and shape? I want to appeal to President John Dramani Mahama to appoint 90% of his appointees from the party because they deserve to properly work hard to ensure that the NDC party manifesto that Ghanaians relied on to him gargantuan votes are fully implemented according to their collective contribution both intellectually, physically emotionally and financially.
Moreover ladies and gentlemen it is only the party members who are capable to occupy the positions in government to champion the needs and wants of Ghanaians because the strength is their party manifesto and the manifesto is for the NDC party members but not professionals outside the party. I want all Ghanaians to know that there is no better professional than your own party professionals because it is the Professionals who win power for the Presidential candidate and he the elected President should not hire professionals outside the party else the party will loose valuable expertise over time. I share the frustrations with the way and manner SOEs are being managed and treated. These are entities of the Republic and by extension belong to all Ghanaians. CSOs should work with government to develop a law that ensures that recruitment into all SOEs is meritorious, their salaries and compensation reflective of the board public sector salaries, and not ostentatious, and their accountabilities and performance clear. These political patronages that we are seeing and which is deepening would be most harmful to Ghana in the long term unless we act now to correct it. Fortunately, President Mahama has the goodwill and parliamentary majority to carry through a legislative agenda on this matter.

What competence did Ghanians see in the politicians when they were campaigning for power and when you vote them into government then all of a sudden they are not competent to run affairs of the country? In fact, 90% appointments should go to party faithfuls and 10% should go to the rest of the national because the collective responsibility is in the hands of the political party if they fail the national will blame the party and they loose power this common sense it is not rocket science for anyone to find difficult to understand.
