When did IMF became the approval authority of a sovereign country like Ghana? Idiots in the leadership of the minority. The npp should get rid of their leadership in parliament and get decent and respected persons. Afenyo is making npp more unattractive. After bringing the party from 137mps to about 83 secured mps, this party rewarded Afenyo with a leadership position again just like akufo addo continued to support his clueless cousin, ofori atta, the worst finance minister in the annals of the republic.

This and other cases dragged on and on in the courts without any tangible conclusions.
Dr Boako, an economic adviser to the former VP sat down and looked on when Ghana's economy was run into the gutters with no shame.

Secondly,the Council of State should advise the President on appointing a Governor for the Bank of Ghana, emphasizing the need for someone with impeccable credentials and no history of financial impropriety.

It's a matter of common sense that the person overseeing the country's finances should be beyond reproach. Unfortunately, corruption has become a major issue in Ghana, playing a significant role in the recent elections ¹. Appointing someone with a questionable past would only exacerbate the problem.

Rather than addressing these legitimate concerns, some commentators here have resorted to insulting the NPP. Is it not the failure of NDC MPs in Parliament to hold the NPP accountable has emboldened the government to mismanage country's finances.
