Ghana cannot afford to privatize all the enterprises owned by government. Ghanaians need to change their work ethics and behavior so that government owned enterprises can thrive. Ghanaians are not dedicated to work when they work for government but these same people work hard if they are employed by private companies. If the CEOs of government companies can crack the whip on their staff like it is done in the private sectors, they will will be successful. Ghanaians just have to change their attitude when they are employed by the government and things will change for the better.

I do agree with your assessment. I will however, disagree with your, one sided premise. The average Ghanaian worker, is indisciplined, to be honest with work. My experience with them is, about thievery. Managers will, inflate company purchases with sellers and act on any form of illicit actions to gain, as against the company welfare. They do it to bot foreign and local companies. Dishonesty, and the concept, or idea to loot, is our main problem. Until sanity, pride in nationalism is expressed in everyday life, we are done, till infinity. There is no, basic trust in Ghana.
