Buying power in Dollars and selling in Cedis is a problem Mahama himself created. Why did Mahama in solving DUSOR made ECG to sign such an agreement with the IPPs? ECG is not positioned to sign such an agreement. More so, ECG doesn't have the expertise to check the availability of the plant of the IPPs to crosscheck the take or pay aspect of the agreement. All ECGs agreement should be handed over to the VOLTA RIVER AUTHORITY who sells power in dollars and have the expertise to check the availability if the IPPs power plants.

It will interest you that the US which is in the front of the so-called clean energy production uses coal to produce 53% of her electricity power.
We may also make use of coconut shells, fiber animal dropping and other to produce electricity.
Animal and human waste can be used to produce gas to cook in homes.
