  Bogoso Prestea Mine was opened was revamped by the Administration of President Kofour not under President Mills. The Prestea Mine initially under State Gold Mining Company became defunct before 1996 as result of the Structural Adjustment Program. It was acquired by Barnex and Barnex entered an Agreement with Golden Star in 1996 to operate it . unfortunately the Workers who invested their serverance funds with the support of the local NDC especially the MP who was lawyer kicked against the operation of the Mine by Golden Star Resources. The matter went to both a High Court in Tarkwa and International.Tribunal where the International Court ruled in favor of Barnex and the Government Ghana was fined 10 Million US Dollars. It Golden Star Resources which bailed the Government out with the fine as part of the purchase agreement. The case in the Tarkww High Court died when the lawyer for the Workers who was the MP for the area was involved in a fatal accident and lost his life when on his way to the Court in 2000 or so.

  Wat are the current ore reserves and resources of the mine the infrastructure process facilities human resources production restraints
  There are experts who involved in that mine and could be conducted please just don’t let us talk like that just for votes and raise the expectations of the populace
