The Trade Fair was in 1067. Nkrumah cooked it but Ankrah, Akuffo Addo Snr and Busia and co chopped it after they booted out Nkrumah in 1966.

They sold the nation's assets. In the early seventies, I know that Black Star Line started by Nkrumah, had ,16 Ships named after Rivers and Lagoons. MV Pra, MV Klortey etc. Where did all these Ships go? Please don't forget Kuffuor also sold Ghana Airways.

Opening: The fair was opened by Joseph Arthur Ankrah, the Head of State at the time.
Exhibitors: The fair attracted around 2,000 exhibitors from 33 countries.
Theme: The theme of the fair was "Developing Africa".
Trade Fair Center: The Trade Fair Center was designed and built between 1962 and 1967 by the Ghana National Construction Corporation (GNCC). The chief architect was Victor Adegbite, and the designers were Jacek Chyrosz and Stanisław Rymaszewski from Poland."
