It's unbelievable that the railway wasn't fixed in the past. Railway track is 63 km only. 50 millions of tons of Manganese will damage the 90 km road from Tarkwa to Takoradi port, gradually. There was a train crash on this railway. A passenger train left Takoradi and on the same single track moved a train loaded with Manganese, from Tarkwa to Takoradi port.

Where are d Hundreds of millions of dollars d Chinese gave to NPP government to rehabilitate d railway line from GMC to Takoradi port?They railway minister could not give account of that said monies when questioned early this year.They have squandered d money n gone to acquire trucks as well to benefit them at d detriment of our roads.A haul road could have been created without passing through town but the selfish interests of our ministers n d President will not pave way for such a move.
