During the recent census, I was staying close to Apostle continuation Church A in wasa Akropong(Amenfi east district) very close to Akropong hospital and the houses around the area were not enumerated including the people at the mission house, a 5mins walking distance to the hospital which is in town.

How can a Minister of State make such a statement against a whole Ghana's Statistical Service, is he by this saying that the workers including the head of the Service do not know their work and for that matter be sacked. So as for this government every information that has to do with performance must be presented in a favourable light to make the NPP happy. Bryan Acheampong, the market is not some place that is not accessible to all, people go to markets wherever they live and can easily determine whether food prices are going up or not; so far at a time when prices are supposed to be coming down the opposite is the case, prices are high. Maybe you are using the figures at the farm gates and these are always lower, but consumers don't buy from there we buy after all related costs have been added, tax, cost of transporting the goods which is determined by unstable prices of petrol, cost of vehicle spare parts, cost of fertiliser etc etc. So Mr Agric Minister go do your home work again. Ghanaians are very hungry and angry.

What the Minister says is very very true. I am a farmer, I also visit the markets both in Accra and Kasoa and prices of food items are down.. I can even say tomatoes are down by about 40% and not 30%
