Yes, I understand that people's lives depend all year round on that however, obviously either we do not have any protective regulations, or the regulations are not observed in inland fishing. Inland fishermen's lives are not getting better either if we don't think of a sustainable way to make things work in our beloved country.
Comparing Ghana's school curriculum in the 70s and 80s, we had very good primary and secondary education programs compared to what I have observed in most countries in Europe and the Americas. Environmental Science was one that raised our knowledge about the environment we live in and how to protect it.
In life, everything when well regulated and regulations observed, sustainability thrives and everyone is happy partakes of the fruit.
In fact, to the end, I believe some incumbents of some positions in the country should be sourced and opened to knowledgeable well exposed experts, independent of party affiliation and whether they are Ghanaians or dual citizens.
We should always remember that "the apple doesn't fall far from the tree."
My interpretation of that to what I am trying to relate to is that, no matter how long a dual citizen lives in a developed world, he/she will ALWAYS, deep down, recon inside him/her that he/she is a Ghanaian. People are always proud if they could do anything positive to ease the suffering of our people and make the country a place to comfortably live in.
