ECOBANK charged me 20USD this month as maintenance fee and I was surprised. They are giving the lowest FX rate in the banking industry and making a lot of money yet are not able to absorb this little fee being imposed on them ...

Yes these ECOBANK charges are said to be Maitenance charges and they are $20.00 per month. This is in addition to 3% fee on any amount withdrawn. It is not fair.
Ghanaian customary behavior, very greedy! And they've not realized how that's destroying the country. A good way to drive away clients.

Ecobank charged its customers $25 as Maintenance fee without prenotice to the customer. This is bad faith. There is no integrity in the banking system anymore.
Seriously............... Ecobank is something else. Closing my account with them immediately.

Ihave not heard from my bank stanchart,I hope they wont dare,otherwise I will close my account the next day.
Just withdrew mine from ECOBANK and have given it to my dog to swallow for safekeeping. I know my dog and what he can do!
That's why Cecilia Dapaah will not keep her dollars at the bank. I think they are encouraging all of us to also keep our dollars under our bed. What a country!!!!
