DON'T DO IT!
VRA is a strategic national asset that must be protected from privatization at all cost. If it is privatized, it would spell the economic doom of Ghana forever. Why? Ghana's heavy and small scale industries would be starved of power (albeit other sources of energy). Ghana's mining/industrial plans would be toast. The people behind the scenes who financed the dam have always wanted total control of it to dictate Ghana's industrial agenda. If VRA has management issues, retrain, re-educate, restructure, but do not privatize VRA or mothball it with other power entities in Ghana. VRA is and would always be a viable independent state organization. Open your eyes, learn, be wise, and think strategically long term (not an insult).

Privatisation is not a bad thing in itself but these greedy npp government might have out for one-eight of the true value to some dubious characters. I haven't forgotten the SSNIT hotels.
