To end this dollar debate bruhaha in our political dispensation, we should dollarize our economy. Our currency is the "CEDI", but we have accepted that dollar nonsense into our political discourse which had creep into our election as if our local currency is dollar.

If by mistake Mahama wins, he cannot reverse the rate to 4 cedis because every economy grows and not stagnant.

No government in Ghana can control the exchange rate in the country. We love everything foreign even toothpicks are imported. We have hotels and schools the country charging US dollars. We have money exchangers at every street like candy stores. Is simple Ghanaians, our demand for dollars will keep going up. Is about time the government shut down these money exchange operators. Once upon a time these money exchange business was illegal, today they are as common as GOBE sellers.

Tema Port duties are very high, but some big men are making profits in Port business. The numbers exposed you. No irrigation on farmland after high farm inputs make the little harvest expensive. Look at cocoa Farmers? No money to pay them after harvest. But if they sell it over the border, it will be a crime. Make railways to Burkina Faso so that onions and tomatoes become cheap. Climate changes have another negative impact on farming.
