  It wouldn't make sense to want to remove VAT on betting. The reason why betting, alcohol, cigarette and other addictive substances and habits are slapped with high taxes is to make them expensive to discourage the youth from overindulging in them. Reducing taxes on betting will only make it cheaper and easier for the youth to bet increasing the likelihood of it's addiction, so Bawumia should consider this aspect as well.
