What happened to the cassava and starch factories initiated by NPP and kuffour in the same Central region? The farmers took bribes from fulani guys and all those cassava were eaten by cows. Such diabolical people are now going on demonstration..

  As farmers, your job is to produce sugarcane for the factory and get paid. Who pays you a good price seems immaterial, so long as it’s in line with the international price of one kilogram of sugarcane sold.
  
  Once you have been paid, what the factory does is not important as long as the factory buys your sugarcane year in and year out.
  The issue of royalty:is for use of the land for the sugarcane farmers, , factory machinery and land ?

  Don’t you understand? The farmers are saying that they have planted sugar cane but the Indians at the factory prefer importing raw sugar to refine it instead of buying the sugar cane from them.

  I’m sure processing from sugar cane is very expensive comparatively so they have no plans of buying the sugar cane from the farmers who have been scammed by the govt and their fake promises
