Why do we, Africans, prefer to "just import it" than to produce it locally to create jobs for our highly-unemployed people?
I think the Nigerian youth should teach President Tinubu a lesson, the Kenyan way.

the leaders have collected imf n world bank loans and because of these loans these govts MUST import foreign products and sell to local nigerians to offset some of the debt or as part of the loan deal...

The problem with Africa is that our politicians, instead of governing, turn into top class business tycoons. And because they operate underground they avoid manufacturing and hide behind others to do importation which is easier to concil. Hence those government regulators fighting dangote are the same people importing petroleum products into Nigeria. So they'll do everything they can to bring this refinery down to protect their business. And in the end it's the foreigners that win. Africa hmmmm.

That will be suicide considering the amount of hatred Ghanaians have for Nigeria and Nigerians, they are not fools. Nigerian embassy was attacked and parts of it pulled down, winners chapel international attacked, Nigerian traders in Accra constantly attacked other foreigners allowed and recent accusations of gathering and killing Nigerians at the police headquarters.The list goes on and on. Nigerians are aware of all this crime committed against them in Ghana but keeps silent for peace to reign, they are not stupid to allow such embarrassment on the person of Aliko Dangote.
