Wither goest us? I am worried about the decline quality and experiences of MPs that political parties are able to put. To a large we are offered only an army of praise singers, sychophants who fancy themsels as Ministers-in-waiting. If we don't scrap the prescription that majority of Ministers must be selected from the decline will hit rock bottom. The standard for an enlighted Parliamentarian with the required quality and experience should be the equivalence of JH Mensah, JH Owusu Acheampong, Cletus Avoka, Sumani Bagbin, Osei Kyei Mensah, Kluste Avedzi, Kodwo Baah Wiredu, Kwame Addo Kufour, Kofi Konadu Apraku, Kojo Yankah, Nana Akufo Addo, Yaw Osafo Marfo, Hackman Owusu Agyeman, Kwamena Bartels, John Dramani Mahama, Mohammed Mumuni, Moses Asaga, Edward Doe Adjaho, Kwabena Adjei, Dan Agbodakpi, etc.
How come in a single Parliamentary election the people had elected so many men and women of timbre and calibre, whilst in subsequent election we the people have water this down to the point what it takes to win a seat to represent your constituency is the biggest bag full of money, after literally bidding for your party nomination "successfully".
