Is SSNIT leadership thinking at all? You reduce your involvement in Real Estate and go where?
In which sector could SSNIT make more equity outside Real Estate?
The bottom line I think is the fact that leadership is doing all it can to offload certain businesses claiming loses and insolvency just to dispose of them.
Why don't SSNIT goes into farming instead with all cashflow available to them?
In farming SSNIT could double their earnings.
SSNIT could also invest into manufacturing of Chocolates since the pray raw materials are available in the country. All this long grammar to confuse the general public makes no sense. People placed to manage public institutions should understand they are there to promote good corporate governance and productivity to benefit contributors to the scheme.

It confuses me when someone well established in real estate business says he is downgrading that business in favour of loans and bonds. At least maintain the real estate portfolio while increasing investment in other sectors. But to sell those assets doesn't sound right for an entity like SSNIT which has no problem with cash in-flow. I think some people are just scheming to personally acquire SNNIT 's strategically located assets in name of divestment.

Osafo Marfo runned down Agricultural Development Bank, so his son in SSNIT is also running down SSNIT.
Osafo Marfo was in National Investment Bank to do the same, but he was removed from there.

Instead of private companies managing tier 2 and 3 of the Pension Scheme, SSNIT must be given the authority to run all the three tiers, so that it can make profit.

These are radical decisions that should not be taken by one individual or board. Especially considering the fact that we are talking about pensions here. In a more civilized society a non-partisan oversight committee would be ensuring proper corporate governance. Switching to more income based investment in this era of inflation doesnt seem particularly wise to me but I am no finance expert.

That's T-bills vs business. Government financing instead of business financing. This is neither helpful to the economy nor to their prime clients, the workers.
