  The reason Ghana is not making progress as a country is because we pamper some people in the country too much..closed season is done everywhere in the world..it’s not only in Ghana..A country that has no discipline will never progress..do u know the reason Ghana still imports fish to our country even with all the sea, and the water bodies around us because of lack of discipline..a country with no discipline and too many cry babies..so I was having a conversation with a guy from a country where Ghana imports fish and I was wondering how their country is able to bring that big fishes to Ghana..The guy told me that in their country, sometimes they close the sea for a whole so they can get more fish..but they close the sea for just a month and some cry babies In Ghana will make noise..Ghana is not a discipline country

  Correction, the guy told me sometimes they have closed season for a whole year..I was like huh, this cannot happen In Ghana with too many cry babies..even close the sea for a month, and an elderly man will be crying like a baby, not knowing they are doing it for his own good…Imagine if Ghana is able to export fish to other African countries, are the fishermen not going to make money.?.we have too many cry babies in the country..so what do they want the Govt to do? Atleast the Govt is trying to compensate u for the closed season..

  The problem with the fishing community is that, there is no planning with some of them with regards to their future. Their thought pattern is quite different to those in other professions. When they make Ghs1million today, by the end of the week, it will all be gone. They do not pay income tax, yet they expect the government to use tax payers money to bail them out. I had live in the fishing community when l was young to adulthood, so l know them. I know it is for political expediency that is why the government is giving them the stuff. But they do not deserve it. And they had the audacity to complain. No money or supplies should be given to them. In the future if they know the government will not be coming to their aid, they will plan for the one month they will not be selling. No discipline.
