No one is here to taunt BCM so far as I’m concerned. I believe as a company we shouldn’t use hearsay of what others say about people to be the grounds of termination which has been the case since I joined the company and this has caused so many unfair judgments to ex employees.That’s why we have EXCOM as disciplinary boards to sit and have their facts or call employees on board for further hearing or investigation. Imagine you being terminated and when asked what actually caused the termination they say it has nothing to do with your job but you are terminated because you seek for school funding, the way you carry yourself at work and you giving information to other source? With no investigation being done to actually buttress the allegations of giving info out. All attempts to reach to Mr List physically, through phone calls and even emails to seek further clarification prove futile. I know some of the executives and line managers did their best to keep me in which I will appreciate along the way because they believed in my ability and talent, but it still ended up same as someone or people might have gone to Mr List to tell him all sort of falsehood about me. So I believe no one is here to taunt anyone’s business or personality but to seek fairness going forward for those still with BCM. Work must not be on personal interest. Because anyone who knows me knew I was the cool type person. In the office we might disagree to agree but that shouldn’t cause hatred amongst others and target them for no justification. And being affiliated to Madam Angela shouldn’t be grounds for termination so far as the person does his/her job diligently. After all BCM staff were majority referral from managers, CEOs or internal staff only few I will say applied for the job and got it. So that shouldn’t warrant for termination when the person who brought anyone in is no more with the company. I leave love and light to everyone and not for anyone to think this was to ridicule anyone but to tell the truth about what happened to some of us.

RESPONSE TO ALLEGATIONS OF UNFAIR TREATMENT OF EMPLOYEES OF
BCM GHANA LIMITED (the “Company”)
The Company's attention was drawn to a series of articles in print and online media containing allegations of unfair treatment and victimization of previous employees of BCM Ghana Limited. The Company categorically denies these allegations, as unfounded and purposely meant to tarnish the image of its leadership and BCM in the marketplace.
It is a fact that the Company's contract at Tarkwa is coming to an end in December 2024 coupled with a significant reduction of production volumes and revenues. This situation naturally calls for measures to be taken on the part of any organized corporate entity to ensure the future of its organisation. In light of the above BCM Ghana Limited conducted a thorough review of operations and through voluntary departures, the non-renewal of employment contracts that are coming to an end and the termination of employment contracts implemented a measure to downsize its overall operations. It is therefore, on this basis and verifiable facts that the company has taken the painful decision to reduce its staff and vehemently deny any unfair treatment or victimization of its previous employees, as alleged.
In any case BCM is a reputable employer being in the local market for over 30 years and all employee departures are made in strict accordance with their employment contract and local labour laws.
It is worth noting that the management have taken comprehensive steps to engage with its client to potentially extend its current contract but this has been constantly frustrated by Angela List and her associates.
With regard to allegations of sexual harassment, it is important to note that the company has never received any complaint from the person reportedly concerned, while she was in the employment of the Company. BCM Ghana Limited takes such issues seriously and would have ensured a thorough investigation if such a matter was reported to management.
In addition, the biased rehashing of various issues including Jonathan Adongo’s case is a complete fabrication of actual events and without giving the full facts, coupled with the various issues with Simon Terbobri the fact of him being intoxicated at work, all of this is being wrongfully presented at a moment for the Company when it is refocusing its efforts on business growth. This sufficiently demonstrates the intent of the authors of these allegations to harm BCM Ghana Limited, a company renowned for its mining solutions/expertise and which has employed and trained thousands of Ghanaians to international standards of mining operations.
In view of the above and the deliberate intent to damage the image and the reputation of BCM Ghana Limited and of its management, the Company has instructed its lawyers, to take appropriate legal actions against the authors and instigators of these allegations.
We wish to add that BCM is committed to its employees and has undertaken a number of initiatives to promote Women in Mining where BCM recently opened a new chapter and attracting young people in mining through its engagement with schools and universities in West Africa which remains close to BCM’s heart of ensuring the development of young people in Ghana and Africa.

To have claimed that you were doing downsizing on operational reasons and failled to follow the right procdures governing such exercises points to managements disregard of the laws of ghana or just a juatificatiom of the victimization or incompetence of the HR manger who failed to advice.
Talking about issues with particular reference to Simon, I read the staement very well and no where in that stament was an issue of intoxication mentioned in his presentation. Your supposed justice for africa made that categorical stament and challenged to drop video evidence. Go back to the comments section. How then do you turn around to say in your response that the intoxication mention in his statement is a misrepresentation? I guess you should have a legal unit that should go through such publication before you bring them out.
Talking about female promotion, it is laughable, as we know that the very day the corporatre affairs manager held the conference for women in mining, he was issued a termination letter immediately after the conference, the only reason possibly being the organization of such a conference
