With the Free Trade Pact in force now, by now, an African wide visa similar to the Schengen visa should have been instituted. It'd start with recipients in certain categories, such as investors and business tycoons like Dangote himself, top govt officials and diplomats.

If you are giving special privileges (Free visa Entry) People will complain. You have to obtain a visa to travel within Central and South American countries even though they have a common language (Spanish).
