At Sixty Seven, we are still suffering from inadequate hospitals, clinics, medical officers, school buildings, poor communication systems, etc., etc., but AI?

The best AI can offer include increased productivity, cost savings, new job creation, improved decision making, personalization, and enhanced safety. Unfortunately Ghana does not have an industrial manufacturing base where enhancing productivity can help. The private sector will cut staff if Mahama’s 24-hour economy is not implemented. The government will cut staff if AI can be substituting for staff. The danger to Ghana and to Africa is that Europeans and Americans can use AI to manipulate support for things that are unpopular with Africans; the same way Trump is using AI that uses fake African Americans as people supporting his genocidal ideas.

Please help us build our roads and electrify our rural areas, then you can come and talk to us about AI. In Ghana, we crawl before we walk. We don't leapfrog from birth straight onto our feet. Please leave us alone to grow at our pace. You talk of Singapore and superimpose it over Ghana. I find that very disingenuous. Granted, Ghana and Singapore gained independence from Britain at the same time. Granted, at the of the independence of the two countries, the economy of Ghana was far bigger than the economy of Singapore. The latter leapfrogged the latter, largely because of infusion of capital from China. Please bear in mind that Singaporeans are Chinese. We did not have any external capital infusion to shore up our lives. Instead we were subjected to the malice of external forces, for refusing to send son of Africa to go and be killed in Vietnam. Please leave us ALONE. WE ARE STILL IN THE PROCESS OF PROVIDING OUR PEOPLE WITH SAFE DRINKING WATER. We shall come of age, but it's going to be at our pace. Too bad, if it is too slow for you. THANK YOU VERY MUCH! May Lord Almighty continue to bless our beloved Great Ghana: Amen!!!
