When you suddenly begin to benefit from 3 oil wells, instead of the previous 1, your foreign exchange position also improves! If your consumption goes up drastically, on your corruption goes unchecked, as is happening under this government, only time will expose you. The slightest shock will expose you so badly, that even your smaller peers like Togo, Burkina, will outshine you, even in the midst of Covid.

We were under IMF and the IMF program ensured we spent within our means. After Ken/Nana took us out of the IMF that is when the cedi started experiencing massive depreciation. This is the only finance minister who took us out of IMF and took us back. This is the only finance minister. The only finance minister who ensured we cannot service our national debt so do you need anyone to tell you he is the worse finance minister in history

Ofori Atta met a relatively better economy due to the efforts put up by the NDC. In his first term he seemed to have performed better because conditions by then were better. After consuming a chunk of the juicy meal left by the NDC, Ofori Atta became wanting.
Had it not been Ofori Atta I would never had known that there is anything called Financial Head cut. Under him, Pensioners suffered terribly and had to picket at the Finance Ministry.
