  Agriculture in Ghana is not an attractive profession because of the way we look at our farmers.
  Our agricultural sector is not sustainable because it is not mechanized and most farmers depend on man power from the farm to the market. Agriculture is thought to be a sector for the illiterates or semi illiterates but we now have graduates and post graduates undertaking agriculture and the government must encourage people to go into farming.
  Agriculture is the most important sector in the country because that is the only means of feeding ourselves without relying on importIon of food into the country.
  Our mentality about Agriculture must change if the profession needs to attract people.
