One of Dr Bawumia policies is to stop govt institutions from buying vehicles but rather go in for lease/hire from private firms.An excellent idea saving the state from corruption from procurement and vehicle maintenance cost.This will also give jobs to the private sector too.No civil/public servant will also get the opportunity to steal govt cars when going on retirement.

Do you even understand leasing? Do you know how much it will cost government annually for operating lease at the current rate of interest? Know that banks do not do operating leases per the act, so you have to fall on non bank financial institutions who charge much higher rates because they also borrow from banks.Do you know servicing/repairs are factored into the pricing? Don't just join the band wagon until you have done some proper lease/buy analysis.

If this economist is wants to be honest, then he needs to ask this useless serial liar Bawumia why for seven years now he has not suggested any of these deceptions to boss Akufo-Addo to use for the benefit of Ghanaians. This is the same Bawumia who now claims he has been merely a Vice-President and therefore should not be held responsible for the dismal performance and failures of his own government, and that's pathetic. Bawumia has only deceptions and false promises, nothing useful for Ghanaians. It's outright crazy to endorse a failed guru economist Bawumia who actively participated in his government's gross mismanagement of Ghana's economy.

Talk and plans are cheap but implementation is the issue. Nana Addo was on BBC as a candidate and we saw him as the saviour of Ghana. Look what happened to Ghana when he got the chance.
