There is too much corruption in Ghana, even the jail system is very corrupt. I know of someone who was jail in jail for same offense but after 3 months he paid his way out and he took weekend flight to escape to London, the ... read full comment
There is too much corruption in Ghana, even the jail system is very corrupt. I know of someone who was jail in jail for same offense but after 3 months he paid his way out and he took weekend flight to escape to London, the second one was a lady involved in counterfeit money, she was also jailed and in less than 2 months she escaped to United States of America. Because she had a visa before she was arrested. Ghana prison is very corrupt institution. They take bribe and leave the convict to escape out of the country. These people will be out of jail within less than a year. The cases I referred to were all in the news, TV , radio and papers, all news outlets. There should be a system where the judiciary can audit the prison system.
