Good travelling from one part of the country to another takes longer to reach their destinations due to the bad conditions of the roads. People travelling to and from their workplaces takes longer therefore less productivity for the economy. The list goes on. Roads are equally vital aspect of a stability of any modern day economy.

Tourism costs the Country nothing...but how can Tourists come ,when the road network is just Shambolic?.The money Tourists pump into any Country is immense ,everyone prospers,but won't come simply because the roads are a death trap.
I had the Misfortune a week ago to travel by car from Kumasi to Accra, usually I would travel by bus..but I had to go to Winneba so took my own car.
Seriously, from the minute I got into the car,I never felt safe,and I had an experienced driver ,who knows the road well......The poor fucking car ,I and myself were a total wreck by I got back to Kumasi(we went up and back the same day)
I couldn't believe that such a main Highway from two Major Cities ,that carries Thousands of vehicles a day was just totally fucked from start to finish.I MEAN TOTALLY......IT WAS A DEATH TRAP.
The road has been patched a million times over the years,and this is not something new,Marhama had four years also,and add what little Addo has done (nothing) that's 12 years all together and still can't get it right.So you ask yourself,what the has been going on here.Ghana wasn't ready to tip the British out back in 1957 .....nowhere ready..and have paid dearly,The country never had the know-how or the experience in manageing an economy, and it stands out like dogs balls.
The Highway would have 6 lanes,3 each way (dual) and PROPERLY SEALED HAD THEY STAYED A BIT LONGER.GHANA ON THEIR OWN HAS HAD OVER 70 YEARS TO BUILD THIS HIGHWAY,AND TAKE A LOOK NOW.ITS YEARS TO ANYWHERE TO BE MADE INTO ANY RESEMBLANCE OF A SAFE HIGHWAY THATS SIMPLY A DEATH TRAP.
FIX THIS HIGHWAY, AND TOURISTS WILL COME, BUT THEY WONT WHEN YOU DISH SHIT LIKE THIS UP.......GET SERIOUS, YOU BUNCH OF FUCKWITS.
