Ghana’s leading digital news and online advertising portal, GhanaWeb, has opened its new digital property platform to property owners, landlords, real estate agents, and developers, allowing them to easily upload and advertise properties for sale, rent, and short-stay accommodation.
The platform, available at ghanaweb.com/realestate, is part of GhanaWeb’s effort to leverage technology to simplify property advertising and connect property owners with thousands of potential buyers and tenants.
Speaking on the initiative, Chief Executive Officer of GhanaWeb, David Antwi, said the platform has been designed to make property listing simple and accessible to anyone with a property to advertise.
“The GhanaWeb Real Estate Website will enable property owners, agents, and developers to showcase houses, apartments, lands, and furnished apartments to a broad audience both locally and internationally,” Antwi explained.
Users can begin listing their properties by visiting the real estate portal and creating an account. The process is straightforward:
Click the ‘Get Started’ button.
Create a username and password to register on the platform.
Log in using the username and password to access the dashboard.
Click on the ‘Real Estate’ section on the right-hand side of the dashboard.
Click ‘Add Listing’ and select ‘Create a Post’ to upload property details, including photographs, location, and description.
Once uploaded, the property will automatically appear on the GhanaWeb Real Estate page, where potential buyers and tenants can view the listings.
David Antwi noted that the platform allows users to advertise a wide range of properties, including houses and apartments for sale, lands for sale, residential rentals, commercial properties, and furnished apartments for short stays.
He added that real estate agents and property developers will particularly benefit, as the platform allows them to upload multiple listings and promote their property portfolios to a large audience through GhanaWeb’s extensive online reach.
“The GhanaWeb Real Estate Website is designed to make property advertising easier, improve visibility for property owners, and help people searching for accommodation or investment opportunities find reliable listings,” David Antwi said.
As one of Ghana’s leading digital media platforms with a large audience both locally and within the diaspora, GhanaWeb expects the initiative to improve transparency in property listings while supporting the growth of the real estate sector in Ghana.
Property owners, landlords, real estate agents, and developers are therefore encouraged to visit ghanaweb.com/realestate, create their accounts, and begin uploading their property listings ahead of the official launch.
