Finance Ministry requests public input for 2026–2029 Budget Statement

The Ministry of Finance has invited the public to contribute to the development of the 2026–2029 Budget Statement and Economic Policy.

According to the Ministry, this initiative aligns with the government’s commitment to being responsive to the needs of Ghanaians, while also deepening citizen participation in the budget process and promoting inclusive policy-making.

In a statement sighted by GhanaWeb Business, the Ministry urged members of the public to submit their proposals electronically via bdru@mofep.gov.gh by Friday, August 29, 2025.

It noted that preparations for the new four-year budget and economic policy are underway and that the final document will be presented to Parliament by November 15, 2025.

The Ministry expressed its appreciation to business associations, professional bodies, financial institutions, civil society organisations, faith-based groups, and the general public for their continued contributions to the national budget over the years.
