Emmanuel Addo demands to beat Tagoe after Ashie

US based Ghanaian boxer Emmanuel Adotei Addo is demanding to fight Emmanuel Tagoe AKA GameBoy after his impending WBA International Lightweight clash against George Ashie on November 11.

Addo is confident Tagoe will get beaten by Ashie in their much trumpeted ‘Clash of Kings’ headliner of BabyJet Promotions maiden event, but nevertheless also wants to exact further punishment on the big talking Tagoe for good measure.

Addo, famously nicknamed Money Mosquito has exclusively told www.sportsinghana.com that he has an old grudge to settle with Tagoe and would not mind coming down to Ghana for the fight.

“GameBoy is the one I wanted to fight before I came to the US so after George (Ashie) beats him, l will like to fight him. Ashie willbeat him, believe me. And after that l will return home in November to face Emmanuel Tagoe but I’m ready to fight the winner,” Addo said from his US base.

The clash between reigning Commonwealth Junior Lightweight champ, Ashie (23-3, 16 KOs) and former WBO Africa and IBF Intercontinental Junior Lightweight titlist Tagoe, 19-1, 8 KOs is the first ever promotion of Black Stars captain Asamoah Gyan’s BabyJet Promotions who have vowed to make boxing big in this country.

Addo, 11-1, 9 KOs, may be already setting the stage for BabyJet Promotions’ next big event with the declaration to fight the winner of the bill christened ‘Clash of Kings’ featuring Red Tiger versus GameBoy.
