Matchmaker Solomon Otoo off to US

for WBO convention

Solomon Otoo Lartey, astute matchmaker at boxing promotion syndicate Box Office Promotions, flew out of the country on Friday night to the United States of America where he is scheduled to attend the 25th anniversary convention of the World Boxing Organisation (WBO) in Hollywood, Florida. Otoo Lartey has arranged fights for many of Ghana’s professional boxers both in Ghana and abroad and has also worked for the Greater Accra Amateur Boxing Association in a dedicated career to the fistic sport spanning two decades. He has also travelled with boxers for fights to many countries in the past including Australia, Russia and the United Kingdom. Whilst in the US for the WBO Convention which begins officially on Monday 22nd to Saturday 26th October, Otoo Lartey is expected to discuss possible contracts and big fight opportunities for some of the nation’s upcoming boxers with some of the biggest boxing promoters, matchmakers, trainers and administrators in the world.Credit: www.sportsinghana.com
