Michael Ansah wants to fight Patrick Okine next

Boxer Michael Ansah is demanding an immediate match-up against experienced Patrick Okine as he seeks to build his own experience as well as up his stakes in his quest for world championship glory.
Ansah, fresh from claiming a unanimous points decision victory against Albert Yeboah last Saturday at the Accra Sports Stadium, says his sights are now set on facing former WBA Africa champion Okine before pushing up for titles.
“I am happy for winning here but I have to shift attention to the future and I think Patrick Okine will be a good fight at this moment. I believe he will be the best opponent at Super Featherweight right now,” Ansah stated at ringside moments after earning a 79-72, 80-72, 79-73 decision over Yeboah of Bukom Boxing Club.
He added: “I’m in good shape and I believe I can beat anyone now. I am definitely on the way to achieving my world title dreams but I think Patrick Okine will be a good fight at this moment.”
Backing the boxer to achieve is his manager, Hon. Wallace Nii Tackie-Komme who is also expressing gratitude to construction giants Prefox Ltd. for their sponsosrhip of the boxer. “I am just encouraging him to work very hard and improve very muh because I will give him all the support.
“The performance the boxer showed against Albert Yeboah encourages me very much. I believe in him and I know with time, he will become a champion,” Hon. Tackie-Komme told www.sportsinghana.com.
He added, on Prefox: “Moreover, I thank Prefox Ltd. They are into building construction, civuil engineering and road costruction.
“I thank them very muh for their support to the boxer during his training and the day of the fight. The kit and shorts he wore during the fight were sponsored by them. We thank them very much and they should help us more.”
Solomon Otoo Lartey, Matchmaker for the boxer is also expressing gratitude to fans of Michael Ansah who showed up in their numbers to cheer on the boxer. “His fans were superb, they never stopped chanting throughout the fight.
