Kotey Neequaye pledges victory over Spivey

US based Samuel Kotey Neequaye expects a convincing win Friday night when he faces experienced American, Dorin Spivey at the Bob Carpenter Center, Newark, Delaware, USA.

The Ghanaian has sworn not to let go the chance to win his first title as they fight for the North American Boxing Association (NABA) Lightweight belt.

A big test he certainly faces in the vastly experienced Spivey (42-6, 30 KOs), but it an examination 30 year old Neequaye pledges to pass with distinction and is urging Ghanaians to remain steadfastly behind him as he goes into battle.

“I’m well prepared and with your prayers and support, I hope by God’s grace victory will be mine no matter how tough it comes,” a very optimistic Neequaye told the Boxing In Ghana newspaper from his training camp on Monday morning.
