Isaac Quaye vows to win for Seasons Travel and Tours

Boxer Isaac Quaye has vowed to win his impending fight on Friday against Namibian Abmerk Shidjuu to show appreciation to his new sponsors, Seasons Travel and Tours for their support and encouragement.

Quaye,23-4-1, 15 KOs, takes on WBO Africa Flyweight champ, Shidjuu (13-4-2, 5 KOs) in a final eliminator for the Commonwealth Flyweight belt on the undercard of BabyJet Promotions’ 2nd bill this Friday April 26 at the Accra Sports Stadium and the Ghanaian is pumped up to deliver.

“I’m very grateful to Seasons Travel and Tours for their support and I’m very determined to win this fight for them to thank them. I also thank my team, Richard Ashie Neequaye, my trainer and his assistant, Rexford Akosah and I promise not to let them down,” Quaye has exclusively told www.sportsinghana.com.

33 year old Quaye, nicknamed Pretty Boy Jnr has not hidden the desire to go on and challenge for the Commonwealth title but is however concentrating on the job at hand on Friday before anything else. “I’ve not heard of him and I haven’t seen his fight but I believe after three rounds in the ring, I will know what to do to beat him. Winning is surely on my side, I’ll definitely win but I can’t say by knockout or points, it will depend on him,” Isaac Quaye said.

He added: “There is A before B, it’s A that can help you get to B. Winning this fight is what can open chance for me to fight for the Commonwealth title so I’m focused on this fight, if I win then God willing, we’ll see what next.”
