Ghanaian referee for African Boxing Union title fight

Mr. Godfred Cobblah, a Ghanaian boxing referee and instructor, left Accra for Luanda, Angola on Wednesday to officiate in an African boxing Union (ABU) title fight to be staged on Saturday, November 10.

Speaking to the GNA Sports before his departure, Mr. Cobblah who is also an internationally certified referee and judge of the ABU and World Boxing Council (WBC) said even though details of the fighters are not available, he knows it is between an Angolan and a South African.

He said whiles in Angola, he would organise a week-long course for referees and judges in the country.
