Emmanuel Addo focused on beating Carradine in US June 29

Ghanaian boxer Emmanuel Addotei Addo is up, ready and focused for his maiden fight in the United States of America come June 29 when he faces American Jesse Carradine in a Lightweight bout as co-main event at the Double Tree Hotel at Hilton, Tampa, Florida.

Promoted by Alessi Boxing Promotions headed by Philip Alessi Jnr, the Ghanaian pugilist has been promised four more fights in the pipeline after this in his quest to gain more experience as he pushes to also realize the childhood dream of winning a boxing world title.

Addo, nicknamed Money Mosquito, is confident of victory over Carradine 8-1-1 (4 KOs). “Sure I believe I can beat this guy and I have a good chance of finishing him up. Honestly, I’m ever ready and getting myself in good shape now. I’m expecting a good fight from him and much more I think he’s very good but I know I can break him down,” Emmanuel Addo told the Ghana based website www.sportsinghana.com via phone from the US.

Furthermore, the Ghanaian is pledging victory to the nation and is calling on his countrymen to remember him in their prayers as June 29 draws ever closer. Addo said: “I promise Ghanaians that they should pray for me and I will win this fight for them.

“My promoters have promised me more fights after this one to keep myself busy for a while. I hope someday I will make Ghanaians very happy.”
