Dodoo-Lawson to light up AGGW Championship

Accra, April 21, GNA - Attoh Quarshie Gym's Michael Offei Dodoo will face old foe Musah Rahman Lawson of Wisdom Gym in the Africa Golden Gloves Warrior (AGGW)Lightweight final elimination bout on Friday, April 22 at the Prisons Canteen, Cantonments, Accra. Dodoo, one of the most consistent pugilists during the Greater Accra Amateur Boxing Association (GAABA) Boxing League few years ago, will be making his maiden appearance at the championship against an opponent who provided him stiff opposition in previous encounters. The bout will also be the first time Lawson, one-time member of the GAABA team will be appearing at the amateur championship put together by Dade Boxing Promotions Syndicate.

Also in a Welterweight final eliminator, Eric Ameshikor of Reformers will face Emmanuel Ardey Aryee of the Sonia Gym whilst Abdul Waheed Omar of Wisdom Gym sorts things out with Isaac Sackey of the Attoh Quarshie Gym in a Bantamweight eliminator.

The contest will be supervised by Jones Neequaye with Theophilus Addo and Ato Fynn as Clerk of Scales, Edward Addo 96 Time keeper and Edward Asante in charge of the Medical Bench.

The organizers of the championship have assured all boxing enthusiasts that entry for the events is free for all persons.
