Cruiserweight boxer Ayittey Powers last Sunday dawn proved too strong for less fancied Joe Sarbah in their contest at the Wembley Park, Kotobabi.

Sarbah started ferociously; throwing close to 20 unanswered blows in the first round but fizzled out shortly, and allowed his opponent to take over the bout that lasted for just four rounds.

By the fourth round, Sarbah who had run out of steam, visited the canvass earlier after Powers pursued him aggressively; hitting almost all his targets.

Referee Roger Barnor stopped the fight in round four. Ironically Team Sarbah expressed gross anger at the referee’s decision indicating the boxer had more energy to continue the fight.

The win hands Powers a three streak win record after the Bukom Banku defeat.
