It's high time for organizers of Vodafone Ghana Music Awards to grow up. Artistes have the right to voice out their displeasure or opinions on issues that are detrimental to their career. Ghanaians now live in a society so cynical that once you voice up your opinion they regard you as disrespectful. The old ways of handling situations is the reason why Ghana music is not recognized worldwide. It’s a shame to be inviting artiste from overseas to perform songs that don’t enjoy airtime anymore. Although Shatta Wale just surfaced on the scene, his music has already crossed shores and is celebrated globally. Shatta Wale is too strong a character for a tiny VGMA to handle. Accept the fact that Shatta is like an Ox, too large – and can't be confined in a local cage. He is internationally recognized. His foresight is far beyond the reach of VGMA. Shatta runs the streets. He is the biggest source of inspiration for the struggling Ghana Music Industry. For his three videos to expose lack of work ethics of award presenting organizers says a lot about changes that need to be put in place. Most Ghanaian artiste are timid (unlike Shatta Wale) and had fallen victim to this “Yes Sir-Master Attitude”. I respect prolific song writers and hardworking individual like Wale and will back him up if an organization is trying to drag him through the mud. What these organizers overlooked is the hole in their pants when they walked through the gates of the courthouse.

I am yet to hear Sak, Sammini and Shatta's songs on another radio stations in the diaspora except for Ghanaian based radio.
When our artist travel, they only play to Ghanaian audience abroad.
In fact most of them will run into copyright and intellectual property issues if indeed they are exposed to the media in the diaspora, because they sample the work of others without citing them properly
Please scale down your estimation. Shatta may be big among Ghanaians and some Nigerians and that's it. He got to humble himself.

So should Shatta wale apologize, what time are they going to use to access his works and categorize them? These people think they foolish us.
