Sometimes people say things they don't know. Ghanaian music is played in Nigeria papa. Nigerians are also familiar with all the popular songs in Gh. Sarkodie, Castro, Shatta Wale and co are very popular in Nigeria just as Tuface and co too are popular here. It opens the market for African musicians to make more money. Nigerian radio stations still play Ofori Amponsah's music even though they don't understand, they can sing along and dance.

Ghanaian musicians always demand too much as royalty whenever radio stations played their music, while the foreign music is free without paying peswas to anybody. I think you all can see what poverty can do.

Dr. Kwame Nkrumah here said 9ja music is not danceable, I laugh at his comment cos it is borne out of hate and envy which all illiterate Ghanaians are known for. GOD is a 9jerian, that's the more reasons we don't struggle for anything. Ghanaians cant do without 9ja music, even the haters here listen to 9ja song more than their half baked dancehall jamaica wanna be artist. go to president john Mahama house and you will be shock to find huge collection of 9ja CDs he played both at home and even in his office too, ranging from Banky W, to Iyanya, Wizkid, 2face ,Dbanj, Tiwa Savage, Patoranking, the Mavins crew dorobucci, MI, Ice Prince Zamani, Burna Boy, J martins, Davido, Kiss Daniel, Yemi Alade, Timaya, just to mention a few.
