Sometimes people say things they don't know. Ghanaian music is played in Nigeria papa. Nigerians are also familiar with all the popular songs in Gh. Sarkodie, Castro, Shatta Wale and co are very popular in Nigeria just as Tuface and co too are popular here. It opens the market for African musicians to make more money. Nigerian radio stations still play Ofori Amponsah's music even though they don't understand, they can sing along and dance.

sometimes I wonder why truth is hard to swallow. the president has confirmed what the media and some good music listener has been saying about 9ja music and musicians, 9ja is the best in Africa right now. we have taken music from Africa to the world. 9ja is doing the continent really proud. am not condemning Ghana music, but facts still remains that, you can hardly listen to music from Ghanaian artist in 9ja, their half baked dancehall Jamaica wanna copy and paste thing is limiting their music to their seashore. Dr. Kwame Nkrumah here said 9ja music is not danceable, I laugh at his comment cos it is borne out of hate and envy which all illiterate Ghanaians are known for. GOD is a 9jerian, that's the more reasons we don't struggle for anything. Ghanaians cant do without 9ja music, even the haters here listen to 9ja song more than their half baked dancehall jamaica wanna be artist. go to president john Mahama house and you will be shock to find huge collection of 9ja CDs he played both at home and even in his office too, ranging from Banky W, to Iyanya, Wizkid, 2face ,Dbanj, Tiwa Savage, Patoranking, the Mavins crew dorobucci, MI, Ice Prince Zamani, Burna Boy, J martins, Davido, Kiss Daniel, Yemi Alade, Timaya, just to mention a few.
